Part of the Portraits of an Island collection, this greeting card features my original graphite drawing of a Willow Ptarmigan.
Well suited to Newfoundland’s barrens and changing seasons, the Willow Ptarmigan is a familiar part of the island’s landscape. Its plumage changes with the seasons, shifting from mottled brown in warmer months to almost entirely white in winter.
