Part of the Portraits of an Island collection, this greeting card features my original graphite drawing of a Newfoundland Pony.
A true Newfoundland heritage breed, the Newfoundland Pony developed from ponies brought to the island by early settlers from the British Isles. Hardy, sure-footed and well suited to the local climate, they became an important part of everyday life in communities across the island.
